Welcome to your pie recipe search activity.

I am accepting nominations for pie recipes to be included in our lab Wednesday.  I will choose six pies from your nominations.

Requirements include:

  • Double Crust
  • Traditional 3-2-1 dough crust
  • Edited Recipe Website (No Recipe.com, Yummly, etc.) Good sources include Taste of Home, Hobby Farm Home, Better Homes and Gardens, and Martha Stewart Living.

    this is a triple fruit pie with blueberries, raspberries and chopped rhubarb. It is also a double crust pie.

    A very rich looking, moist pie crust that is baked perfect golden brown and has a nice peach cobbler filling.

    grocery list:
    6 cups fresh peaches
    1/4 cup granulated white sugar
    3 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
    2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

    A very rich looking, moist pie crust that is baked perfect golden brown and has a nice peach cobbler filling.

    Its a sweet glazed cherry pie, looks very delicious filled with lots of cherrys.

    Its basically a cream pie with a double crust and it looked finger licking good to me!
    Can have any filling but it was recommended to use apple or peach filling by Martha Stewart herself.

    I absolutely think this pie looks delicious. I have had it at olive garden and it was DELICIOUS 🙂 it was so rich and yummy the chocolate like melted in my mouth. I loved it.
    For the filling:
    12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) salted butter, room temperature
    1 cup granulated sugar
    3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
    1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
    3 large eggs
    Whipped cream, for serving
    Chocolate curls, for serving

    A good looking young cherry pie. Great in flavor and is healthy.

    2 pounds Bing cherries, pitted and halved
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    All-purpose flour, for rolling
    1 large egg yolk, beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
    1 tablespoon turbinado or granulated sugar, for sprinkling
